Excellent smoked meat sandwiches! The smoked meat is identical to Schwartz's in Montreal! No need to make the 6 hour drive. The bread doesn't quite hit the mark but it's serviceable. They do a sandwich combo with a pickle, coleslaw and fries for $13.99.

Finally! A good Montreal smoked meat deli in the 416. A great sammich, got the medium cut. Add a black cherry and I can almost believe I'm on the Main at Schwartz's. The smoked meat is cut when ordered and they also have karnatzels. the wife ordered the chicken sammich that is a Portuguese style roasted thigh. That was tasty, too. Damn. This good stuff.

The Montreal style smoked meat sandwich is to die for. Full of flavor and juiciness. Owner is a very friendly dude. Save yourself the trip to Quebec and come here instead!

If you cant make it to Montreal, than here is where its at. Simply perfection and amazing customer service! I would like a little more coleslaw but thats here nor there.

I love the food here. If you want smoked meat this is the place to go with all other places in Toronto I've tried being second. The food does tastes like Schwartz smoked meat, but not exact. I love the atmosphere in here, you can sit and talk and have a relaxing lunch. The staff are friendly and they work as fast as they can. It is busy at times so you may be caught in a line sometimes. Best smoked meat outside of Montreal and even better than some of the legendary Montreal haunts. Very generous portions and reasonable prices. Service was exceptional. Seasoned fries are great but may be too spicy for kids, consider asking for non-seasoned if you don't like a bit of heat.Will be back for sure!

SumiLicious Smoked Meat & Deli is one of the best smoked meat sandwich restaurant and one of the best restaurants Toronto has to offer. With their meat piled high and the quality of meat they serve, paired with fresh cut crispy French fries, a juicy pickle and a vinaigrette coleslaw is second to none. I highly recommend this restaurant even more than I would to Schwartz in MTL.

Wow! Having lived in Montreal and spent a lot of my days at Schwartz's I was skeptical, but I was blown away. The smoked meat is delicious - - perfectly spiced and melts in your mouth. Love that they also serve Cott's Black Cherry soda! Shared the delicious poutine which is huge; very flavorful gravy, curds and solid fries. Decent coleslaw. Very friendly and warm service. Will be back!

WOW. meat was super juicy. the flavor was subtle but just enough to make you satisfied. The meat is cooked in house so its fresh and personal. Only preference I would like to have is a choice between light and dark rye, they only served light. Meat poutine was meat overdose lol.

My partner and I went for lunch time and got the lunch combo to share between the both of us. The lunch combo was perfect for the both of us since we missed breakfast. The smoked meat was not overly fatty which I loved and the pickle given on the side just complimented the sandwich.

Wow! Dropped into this place while looking for something else and discovered a fantastic Montreal smoked meat place. The place is small but and has a limited number of tables for seating. The star of the show here is definitely the smoked meat and that is really on point. The meat is hand sliced and the portion is really good. Well worth the visit if you are in the area.

The best smoked meat in TOronto!!! Delicious and tasty. Great service even tho you pay at the counter, staffs try their best to help you and even check on you while they aren’t busy. The Owner is super nice, I was short on changes 50c when getting a pop while leaving, he just told me not to worry about it. That’s very nice of him! I am so glad they opened one in Toronto, the smocked meat sandwich is truly the best. The natural blend of meat, great mustered and fresh bread elevates this simplicity to a whole other level, one that talks to your soul. You don't have to be a foodie to appreciate this fantastic meal, I have been here many times and told my friends about it and so far they have all loved it.The best part of this place is that the meat is certified halal so to all the picky halal eaters (myself included), give this place a try!

Came back for like the 6th time and got sandwiches for 15 people. Excellent taste and quality, the whole team really enjoyed their sandwiches. Portions are generous with lots of meat. The smoke meat poutine is also really good as well.

I didn't expect the brisket I bought for the holidays to be exactly like the restaurant. I followed instructions on steaming and cutting the meat and was delighted by the amount of yummy smiles I received. I get a sandwich once a week. I might buy a smoked brisket once a month now. It's the best smoked Montreal meat outside of Quebec I've ever had.Go there now.

If I could give these guys 100 stars I would. Great food, Beyond my expectation!! Sandwich’s are beyond filling (I couldn’t even eat half without giving up) and the sandwich combo is accompanied by seasoned fries and a big juicy pickle. Schwartz has NOTHING on this hidden gem of a joint. Owners and chefs are very polite & humble.

This place was insanely delicious!!!! My friends had the meat sandwich and I had the chicken one and it was freshly grilled and delicious. They also had Jones sodas and root beers and normal sodas for drinks. Really cool.

Finally a smoked meat sandwich that's worthy of being called a "Montreal Style Smoked Meat Sandwich". That fatty, delicious brisket is to die for... Will be back... probably once a week.

The smoked meat sandwich was delicious! The Black Cherry Cola is seriously so good - need to find a wholesale place to buy these. Combos don’t come with drinks nor are you able to upgrade the fries in the combo to a poutine for an extra surcharge. So it’s a bit pricey if you purchase the smoked meat sandwich, poutine and a drink separately. But overall, very friendly staff (or owners?) and delicious food.

Literally just came from here.I got the smoked meat sandwich combo, and have no regrets. I was very full and the sandwich was delicious. It came with basically a 1/2pound of smoked meat, seasoned fries, some coleslaw, and a massive pickle. FYI drinks aren’t part of their combos (and they do have signage indicating that, so with a drink my total was around the $18 mark which I think is fair based on other venues). Portions are big; and it’s a challenge to not let the meat fall out of the sandwich.The meat is super flavorful, and has a nice mix of tough parts and fatty parts that just melt in your mouth. More amazingly is that the bread doesn’t fall apart, nor is it too hard.The fries were fresh (but for my palette, I added a little bit more salt and lots of ketchup).Their coleslaw balances out the sandwich and fries salt levels, and is actually quite refreshing.The pickle is massive, and pretty juicy too.Overall, I think it’s worth a visit if you’re ever in the area.

Had the chicken sandwich, chicken poutine (with Vegetarian gravy) and the smoked meat sandwich. It was so absolutely delicious!!! The meat is hand cut (not by a machine) so it's nice and thick. And juicy. And the customer service is amazing. The people are so nice here. The chicken sandwich was incredibly juicy but it's spicy!! (Note that I have no tolerance for spicy food, my friends didn't find it that spicy) but you can ask them for no spicy and they'll hold back on the spicy sauce they use. Definitely coming back .
